DR. CHRISTOPHER A. KONTOGIANIS

“As many of my patients know me from the ski hill or bike riding as know me from my office. We share a common love of outdoor pursuits. I have a very straightforward approach. I speak with my patients, not at them, in language they seem to understand. Quite simply, my job is to get them back to doing whatever it was that they were doing before they got hurt. I understand what it’s like to have to give up something you love doing and hope my patients won’t have to.”

DR. CHRISTOPHER A. KONTOGIANIS, MD, FAAOS

Orthopedic Interests:

  • Sports Medicine
  • Arthroscopic Surgery
  • Knee Surgery
  • Hand Surgery

After multiple rotations in various medical disciplines, both surgical and nonsurgical, Dr. "K" was astounded by the impact orthopedics has on quality of life. While cardiac and trauma surgeons save lives, orthopedic surgeons enable people to run again. Dr. "K" aspired to be the person who gives someone the chance to run again or ski with their kids.

Many of Dr. "K"'s patients recognize him from the ski hill or bike trails as much as from his office. Sharing a common love for outdoor pursuits, he adopts a straightforward approach, speaking with his patients in language they understand. His goal is simple: to help patients return to their pre-injury activities. Understanding the frustration of giving up beloved activities, he strives to ensure his patients don't have to.
