Dr. Dworkin served in the United States Army and completed orthopedic surgical residency training at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. During residency, participated in care for the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard service members, and was active in research across all sub-specialties of orthopedics. After residency, he served as an active duty orthopedic surgeon at Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital (BJACH), Fort Polk, LA. While at Fort Polk, he served as the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at BJACH and was involved in the care of soldiers and their families and Retirees. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, has published multiple orthopedic research papers. Currently he is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society, and is a current Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Dworkin joins us with his wife and two children, enjoys out door activities including hiking, going to the beach, football and wrestling!
