He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Michigan State University/MSUCOM, Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI, and earned his DO from Western University of Health Sciences/College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, CA. He serves as the Medical Director for the Kennewick General Hospital Total Joint Program and is an adjunct faculty member at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. Dr. Sherfey is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, Washington State Orthopedic Association, Washington Osteopathic Medical Association, Washington State Medical Association, and Benton Franklin County Medical Society.
